My nieces have filed a RO against my brother.
I don't have any experience with this so can't help but now I'm curious about it. Here, to get a RO the person must have made a very specific threat before law enforcement will even consider taking your $100+ to start the process. "You're gonna get hurt" said in a menacing tone isn't enough of a threat. So I'm wondering what the girls said that Dad did to them, and if the fee is waived for minors? Or if it works very differently depending on where you live?
When you find out the rest of this story please come back and tell us what's going on.
ETA: the reason you got an error at the Divorce and Custody board is because it became inactive--a "read only" board-- several months ago
The girls have seen how the system can be manipulated from their mother.
Here, all you have to do is show up in court and ask to get a RO.
Oh, trust me, I know better than to get involved.
There is a God.
