I also don't have experience with this and would need more info to provide better advice. No one knows what goes on behind closed doors and there might be a big part of the story left out by your brother.

I don't have any experience with this so can't help but now I'm curious about it. Here, to get a RO the person must have made a very specific threat before law enforcement will even consider taking your $100+ to start the process. "You're gonna get hurt" said in a menacing tone isn't enough of a threat. So I'm wondering what the girls said that Dad did to them, and if the fee is waived for minors? Or if it works very differently depending on where you live?

ETA: the reason you got an error at the Divorce and Custody board is because it became inactive--a "read only" board-- several months ago
