Had a really odd xmas. It was a little bit of everything good, bad, sweet, and a little ugly.

Good:

It started out good. DS got up and we got to see him tear his gifts open. He then shut himslef in his room after we got the Playstation 2 set up and he was glued to it for HOURS! I played with him too during house work breaks. It was fun!

Blue, you're not alone, many families have problems at Christmas...actually they have problems all year long, it's just that at Christmas time with all the Hallmark BS, most people go into a mental fantasy of having a warm family get-together. And in reality we know that's not true. A date on the calendar doesn't guarantee harmony.

Tomorrow's the start of another work week and back to the same old, same old.

And just think, Christmas is just a year away! : )

Why not do what I do: don't invite anyone to your house, go or not go to their house or someone's house, to avoid all that. I stopped having Christmas at my house, and we only get invited to those people (Dh's fam) who I have good Christmases with, and my kids and DH meet us there, and who gives a hoot about my fam, since all we do is fight anyway. I haven't spend Christmas with my sis' family because their my negative, and I certainly don't need that at a time when I needed positive influence in my life. Or next time, just let your DH spend Christmas with whomever, if he can't be a positive influence for you, and take DS with you to spend Christmas alone with Shirl your positive influence.

Can cell phone records be accessed? Can you somehow get a print out of calls in and out to your dh's cellphone? I don't know if this can be done. I think the lack of trust is eating you alive when it comes to your husband.

Funny you should ask that. I've just went through his cell phone bills for the past year. It lists incoming and outgoing. I saw where she called
