My live in boyfriend has friends (a couple) that he has known for over 11 years. They go skiing together, etc. The other night, we had them over for dinner. The 3 of them had conversations, excluding me altogether. I tried to join the conversation a few times. The couple only made eye contact and talked directly to my boyfriend as if I wasn’t even there. I got very upset at this. This isn’t the first time. Was this rude on their part or what?

In my opinion yes it was rude.
Couple of questions:
1. How long have you been with this boyfriend and why didn't he include you in the convo or did he?
2. Did you bring this up with the bf how you felt?
3. Do you have similar interests with these friends?
Might it be time to find other friends?
