I am so very sorry for your loss!

I think maybe your dad was just at a loss for words, fumbling for something to say. While I don't know the specifics of your relationship with him, I do know that he's a man. For the most part, men aren't really taught how to deal with emotions & things such as this... It could be that he was struggling for something to say & that what came out....wasn't really what he wanted to say!!! KWIM!?

Again....very sorry for your loss!!!

Thanks to everyone for the love & support!!

In answer to the question, if I'm close to my bio-dad? No, he's an ass...he's never been there for me, so I just take what he says with a 'grain of salt'.

I do understand that my parents (mom & step dad), were more worried about my age & health, regarding the pregnancy, when they 1st found out, so that's why not a great reaction when I told them, but they were supportive after a bit...

I'm sure, given this loss, if & when we decide to 'try again' & succeed....my parents will be a lot happier for me!

But, given the loss & the emotions I have to deal with, I'm not sure if I can go thru this again?!
