I have this problem with a couple of friends and it is never something urgent, it is like they think whatever they want is more important than whatever it is

And I didn't get the impression from your first post, about not answering all day long, to mean you were helping kids with homework or having sex. Do you work from home?
Not everyone that doesn't answer the phone is because they're busy with more important stuff. Some like the control, imo.

We were having the same problem with my MIL. She starts with the home phone, then dh's cell & then my cell. Sometimes she does leaves the very same message on all 3. I think dh told her to knock it off.
I can understand your frustration busdriversam, at least your mother in law leaves messages. This people I'm talking about won't leave a message but will call non-stop all day. I wonder why some people find doing that fine.

Cat.alley - I don't understand why you keep trying to turn this into a fight but I will tell you the same thing I told her, let's just agree to disagree. I was trying to help her since she posted on my post but if you have an issue with that then fine. I suppose the two of you are friends and I think sometimes being a friend means telling your friend the truth and not just what they want to hear. Have a nice day.
