Today I was wondering about pets names...

If you have pets what are thier names?

What are the strangest/funniest pet names you have heard?

If you are planning to get pets in the future have you already picked out pet names?

My Pet's names

If you have pets what are thier names? I have two cats and their names are Morgan (black shorthair girl) and Ishmael (grey/black tabby shorthair boy). We also have two goldfish named Asaka and Komandaki

What are the strangest/funniest pet names you have heard? I heard of someone naming their black kitty Snowball.

We are planning on getting a dog as soon as we move into our house. We have been talking about names. I have always wanted a dog named Scruggs. My DH wants these crazy names that can be shortened to a normal name. I think his latest was Refurdo, or something silly like that. I also like inital names. We are maybe thinking about getting a greyhound and for a female, I want to call her C.C. Dh also likes Buster for a male greyhound.

My cat's name is CJ (short for Calamity Jane).

My tarantula's name is Ellie Mae (we call her The Ell-meister).

Funniest pet name I've ever heard? Guess it would have to be Itty Bitty $h!tty kitty (yup, you guessed right - the third word alludes to fecal matter and rhymes with "pretty"), who belonged to a person I knew in college. She was so named because she was - shall I say - litterbox-challenged.

I've got two cats: My girl is Annie, for little orphan Annie, because she was the last of her litter to be adopted when rescued by the human society. My boy is Duff (or Duffy), for the beer Homer Simpson drinks on The Simpsons!!

My dog's name is Sebastian, but mostly we call him Sab or Sabby. After we named him I realized all four dogs I've had in my life have had names beginning with the letter "S" so my BF and I agreed any future dogs we get will have "S" names. We like Sassafras for a female dog. Our cats are BJ--BF had her before he met me and named her after the first initials of his and his ex's names...so I insist we tell people she's named after a character on his favorite TV show, M*A*S*H. Our newest kitty was PITA (as in pain in the arse.) When she was living outside we started calling her that bcuz she was driving us crazy and wouldn't let us bring her in. Now that she's in we thought that was a bit mean, but the name just stuck so we changed the spelling to Peeta.

As for strange names, my friend once had a cat she named "Dog." When I was a kid we had a female kitty my mom named "Darling." Not really strange, but I think it sounds so Zsa Zsa.

The person with the black cat named Snowball is probably a Simpsons fan. The Simpsons have a black cat named Snowball!


Pet names used in my lifetime:

Dogs: Corky, Chance, Cajun, Oliver.

Cats: Sunday, Daisy, Mikey, Layla, Xena, Cougar.

My cousin had a cat named Burger, and a bird named Tusey. She's a little strange! LOL

Someone else had a pair of birds named Polly and Esther.

My friend kelly had a cat once named PITA

She called it that because it climbed up her doorframe. and left little paw marks all over the door frame.

I have a big tabby cat named Norten. We adopted him when he was 6 from friends who were moving out of the country. He loves to lay on his back in the sun.

I used to have 2 beagles when I was little and Freckles was my favorite, hence my handle.

I have a boston terrier named Zeke, a french bull dog named Bella, and 3 cats-Clark, Vixen and Otter Pop.
