Hello my Childfree family!

This is our new home. Make yourself at home.

Nancy and I have been discussing some of the new folders that we are going to ask for.

Those being:

Games and Polls

Rants and Raves

Feel free to make any other folder suggestions and we will see what we can do.

Its going to take a little to get used to, but I am sure soon we will love our new home as much as we loved our old one.

Becky

Sheesh! It certainly IS different. I like to think I'm pretty flexible though, I'll TRY to get used to it! ;-)

I'm all discombobulated (or however you spell it)! I'm sure we'll get used to it though...

I'm discombobulated, too (I love that word!). But the new digs are pretty cool. :)

Perhaps we could separate rants into their own folder, and label it "not for the easily offended" or something to that effect. That way people who *say* they just want to learn about the childfree can avoid having their sensibilities hurt.

Other ideas for folders:

"On The Fence"

"Family Issues"

"Workplace Issues"

"Relationship Issues"

"Ask A Childfree Person"

Got to agree with you! It is much different and a little confusing at the moment, but in time I am sure I will see it as a change for the better.

Yeah, I'm sure in a little while, we'll all be old hat at this and say, "Whoa! Remember the OLD board, and how we couldn't edit after we posted?" Tee hee!

Something that's helping me to settle in: clicking on "Outline" form above. Outline form brings up a popup window showing a view of the board similar to what we're used to. That way, I can keep track of new messages and replies better! :)

ITA. I'm going to the outline form a lot already. I think it's easier if you're crunched for time and just want to see what's going on.

I need to get glasses to see these new boards! Oh well, it will limit my time spent on the net because if I spend any amount of time here, I will go blind....

Great ideas for folders! I still don't understand what a folder is though, and I read the cheat sheet. Maybe I'm just thick.

Are the folders the shaded horizontal bars that say "general discussion" or "off topic discussion"?

O.K., O.K.,...I'll go, but I won't go quietly. You'll have to drag me kicking and bitchin' to the new boards.

Honestly, I think they complicated them more in some ways, but I'll get used to it.

Sigh!
