The Best Thing About Being Married

If someone who was single was to ask you what the best thing about being married was, what would you tell that person?
For me, the best thing is knowing that I won't be going through life alone. If I have a crisis or just need to vent about something, I have someone to turn to. I have someone by my side who can help me. Yes, I love my alone time and need it, but I'm glad to know that there is someone in my life that I can count on, who lends me stability and helps to lower my stress level when life gets too tough to handle.
Not being alone is something I also agree with,
However also sharing my life .. the good, the bad & ugly with someone I love dearly.
Knowing I can tell, share anything & everything with this special person :)
That's a big picture thing...if I were to pick a small everday detail, it would be just having arms around me. Dh hugs and cuddles me before I fall asleep and he does the same as I'm waking up. It just feels GOOD. I remember being single and just missing the feeling of having a warm body next to me. I even went to get a massage once so I could have some "human touch".

The best thing about being married, when you've married the right person, is safety. (I've tried for 2+ years to find exactly the right word, but I haven't figured it out yet.)
What I mean is that DH and I *know* that our marriage is forever, and that we are 100% safe within the marriage. We
Ihave been married all of my adult life - at 24 or 25 - can't remember - then divorsed and then remarried - a very long time
I can't imagine not being married
My husband is the marrying type of guy too - neither one of us have been unmarried in our adult life - except for a few years break
Living alone can be lonely
I love everything about being married - I can't really pick one thing
Having someone who will be with me not matter what.
I agree that the best thing is being part of a team. Knowing that we can problem solve together and also enjoy fun things together makes even the toughest struggles worthwhile!
