We don't wear them around the house or when we're working in the yard but we both wear them everyday to work.

How do you remember to take them off & put them back on at home then?
Glad you both do every day then except around the house like that ;)
It's like changing into "play clothes" after school. LOL As soon as we walk in the door after work, unless we're taking the dogs for a quick walk, we shed our shoes and work clothes and jewelry and get into more comfy clothes: shorts or sweats and t-shirts. ;)

Saying it's "like changing into play clothes" is perfect, RoseAnn! That's how I am with my ring; I wear it when I'm outside the house, but never when I'm home. It comes off when I change clothes, and goes into my jewelry box.
Hugs, as far as remembering to put it back on: when I'm getting ready to leave the house, it's second nature to me to grab my ring and then my purse and keys.
DH always wears his wedding band unless he's doing something that would be dangerous if he had it on.

Hugs - for me, it's a comfort thing. I don't ever wear shoes around the house -
Neither DH nor I wear wedding rings. DH's needs to be resized and is currently on a chain in my jewelry box. I have my wedding ring, but I'm not wearing it right now because it's a V-shaped one and doesn't look right right without my engagement ring. A few months ago the stone (a heart-shaped amethyst) fell out of my engagement ring and I couldn't find it. I told DH that he'll have to get me a new ring, probably at one of our later anniversaries.
