I voted "Yes...Sometimes" I can't remember if I posted here but at the beginning of the year, I requested that DH bring me flowers more frequently. He asked how frequently and I said "once a week". He balked at that so we compromised on once a month. He's been pretty good; even bringing me flowers twice in May (once for my birthday).

That is SO sweet!! I love it.

Apparently, I mentioned at the beginning of our r/ship that I prefer other things to flowers bc they die...tho I used to buy daisies for my desk at work every week (so I must like flowers!!!). So DH rarely gets me flowers. I keep reminding him that it's not true but he keeps forgetting. Instead he gets me plants that flower like azaleas :) My mother got me flowers for mother's day so I'm covered, LOL.

When my DH and I were still long distance he'd have a few roses waiting for me at the airport when I'd visit him. Very sweet of him.

To be honest I don't really care for flowers as a gift. It's surprising and beautiful when it does happen, but it's so sad to watch them wither away. Most of the time I don't buy flowers myself. I would never turn down flowers, but it wouldn't be my first choice. I'd rather a potted plant for our tiny garden.

I do understand that,
Then it works out since you don't care for them much :)

DH has brought me flowers exactly one time in the 2 1/2 years we've been together.

In his defense, our financial situation is extremely tight, since he is a full-time student. I would hate to spend money on even a grocery store bouquet at this point in our life.

It's funny, though...I was so excited when he brought me flowers, and he didn't really understand why. He said, "You told me you don't like flowers." I'm thinking...huh? After discussing it, I figured out what happened. When we were first dating, I told him I didn't like roses. (Roses are fine but there are other flowers I like MUCH better.) Which is what I told him, but he only heard the first part and thought I meant I didn't like flowers, period.

Sigh...husbands!

The only times DH has ever got me flowers was when I told him he had to.

>>> Believe it or not, roses aren't my favorite flower, either! <<<

LOL, RoseAnn, why wouldn't I believe it? At this point, I'd be surprised if we *disagreed* on something!
