I get see what that looks like EVERY thurs. My DH stays home with the kids...he'll feed them, help them dress themselves, change DS2's diaper and throw a load or two of laundry in the washer (but then clean laundry is all over our room - EVEN on the floor!!).

He feels like he had a full day and did a lot, LOL :)

I don't complain tho. I love having him here with the kids and I know he's exhausted after his week. Plenty of time for both of us to clean on Fri & Sat.

Interesting Dee,
Definitely an *our* job.
Well good he notices when you do that marathon cleaning.
Although hopefully not too often with it ;)

I had to put "other" bc I don't know. Sometimes I'll get the cleaning bug and do an all day marathon - obviously he notices when I'ven been cleaning for 8-12 hours straight!!

But for normal cleaning, he used to get upset w/me if I didn't "thank" him for cleaning. So I would ask him why I needed to thank him? Because he was filling in/doing my job? Because cleaning is not MY job, it's OUR job. After that, he didn't ask me to thank him but he won't comment if I do either. It needed to be done, it got done...no need for anyone to run a commentary on it ;)
