It's Friday everyone!

What's on tap for the weekend?

Fun, excitement, relaxation, chores?

Do tell!

Tonight we are headed to Whole Foods for the week's produce plus the fixings for fajitas for dinner tonight. We'll watch a movie or catch up on TV (gotta love the DVR!).

Tomorrow we have appointments to donate blood. Then the dogs have appointments for nail trims (we usually trim them at home but got free trims for donating to the vet's holiday supply drive).

In the evening on Saturday, DH is headed out for his role-playing game and I have a too-long list of things to do while he's gone: watch War Horse, clean up the craft room, call my sister, call my friend, take down the outside Christmas lights.

We'll likely finish my to-do list on Sunday ;), do our grocery shopping and relax.

I'm a little out of sorts this weekend with not much to do!  The holidays are over, house is clean...

I slept in (which I love since I have to get up at 6:00 every weekday) and am now just enjoying my coffee and time on the computer.  :) Saturday is laundry day for me, so have started that and dh and I have GOT to get groceries this afternoon.  I'm going to go through some cookbooks before we go and make dinner plans for the week.  Too many times at the end of the day, dh and I are looking at each other going "What are we going to eat??"  I'm NO cook (and don't like to) and he gets tired of trying to think of things, so it's a challenge.

Other than laundry & groceries, not sure WHAT I'm going to do.  Any suggestions??  :)

Watch a movie! Read a book! Play a game!

As for meal ideas, DH and I are the same about wanting quick, easy things for worknights. In the winter, we usually make a soup or stew on Sunday and that serves as dinner at least one night during the week.
