DH & I are finally on the road to recovery,
Him more than me as he was much sicker.
Hopefully I can be around more next week.

So what's up for your weekend?
Have a great one & let us know :)

Well, at least you're efficient. With both of you sick at the same time, you're not wasting time waiting for one or the other to get better. LOL

The dogs will be a big "help" this weekend, I'm sure. Whenever we're working in the yard, they usually stay busy finding sticks and chewing on them or wrestling together. ;)

We have one more acorn squash in the garden and we're going to make that into soup. We have a recipe for butternut squash soup that we really like; not sure if we'll use that with the substitution or look for a new recipe.

LOL RoseAnn,
Thanks for the chuckle on that about both of us now getting better
Aww great on the furkids to help you out like that in the backyard .. love it!
That will be excellent if you can use that for your soup.

Have a wonderful weekend ;)

I hope you and DH are both well and healthy soon! It sucks to be sick!

We don't have any big plans this weekend but we do have a lot to accomplish:

  • bathe the dogs
  • clean the water softener tank and refill it with pellets
  • mow the lawn
  • housecleaning
  • make soup
  • oil changes on both cars
  • shop for pillows
  • clean up the garden

I think it's going to be a good weekend. We'll go to Farmer's Market on Saturday morning. It's getting harder to get motivated but it only goes through October and then we'll miss it so we have to take advantage while we can!

Our weather is supposed to be nice...in the 80s...so we might get out for a few walks with the dogs, too.
