The fur kids are ever-present! Although they aren't around kids much, being golden retrievers, they're amicable to anyone who pets them and has snacks once in awhile. LOL DSD and DSIL have dogs, too, so the boys know how to treat them nice and the dogs are pretty good about just finding a hide-out when they've had enough attention.
Our 4-y.o. niece is afraid of dogs (which I blame on SIL) so I'm hoping that her seeing the boys interacting with the dogs and enjoying them might help change her mind. We can hope!

Will your furkids be there & hope they get along with the kids yet?
Sounds like a fun time ahead for all too :)
They are staying with us for most of the visit (we are sending them to spend a night at DIL's condo in the mountains to give us all a break in the middle).
That's part of why we decided to volunteer to host TG. At our house if the boys are tired, messy, need a nap, have a melt down, they can escape to their rooms upstairs without too much trouble. Plus, this satisfies our obligation to host so after Thanksgiving we just have to show up with our contribution!
And we're getting better at prepping for them. We have the baby gate, outlet plugs and bed rail from their last visit. A friend has again agreed to loan us a crib and booster seat.

RoseAnn, Denver, so much we're looking forward to: DSD is coming for a visit with her DH and our two DGSs. They are going to be here for 2 weeks around Thanksgiving and we have some fun stuff planned while they're here, including seeing the Christmas lights at the zoo and hosting Thanksgiving dinner at our house!
