When I'm out in public with my 3 children, or even just my two youngest ones people always ask me, "Wow, you got your hands full don't ya?" I wanna slap everyone of them in the mouth. That just instantly puts me in a bad mood. If you can see that I'm having a hard time with them, DON'T TALK TO ME!! I'm busy!
As far as "what's your book about?" DD asks me that about EVERY book I read. SO annoying!!
This thread is funny!
Along the same lines as people asking "what are you eating for lunch?" is "That's all you're eating for lunch?!" My lunch consists primarily of fruits and veggies. I have a well-balanced diet and I'm a healthy weight so I don't know why people think it's any of their business. I refuse to eat at my desk just to avoid questions! LOL
Not in defense but I think some people mean it as a compliment (well, maybe not "have you gained weight?" LOL). It's their way of showing interest but they don't realize that it can be treading on dangerous ground.
Our neighbor recently lost a lot of weight and when I first commented on it, I almost immediately tried to backpedal because I worried that maybe he was sick. It turns out that the weight loss was intentional but now his wife is worried because he won't quit losing.
I hate bad grammar! I even had to block my DSD's Facebook status from my newsfeed because I couldn't resist the urge to comment when she made terrible errors. I think texting and just people being in a hurry has caused writing to suffer!

My biggest problem is grocery stores - when YOU know you are going to using a credit or debit or write a check - why do they wait till the very end - get it and and get it ready - or they don't know how to use the cc machine
I've said to women - "if you know you are going to write a check - why don't you get it ready and then fill in the amoun":
If I know I am goiing to charge it - I get my lic and card all ready - And if I know I am going to use part cash and balance on a card - I tell the cashier first - so no delays
I go just nuts - aside from driving - thats a whole other
My pet peeve question si ..*How are You?*Really do they want the truth .. not usually ..I find it a *formallity question & quite irritating :)
