Hi, everyone.  I wanted to post to see if anyone is still experiencing any problems accessing the forums.  Our techs are still working to get everyone back up and running.  I know there is still an issue with accessing the forums using mobile devices (tablets and phones).  If you are unable to reply to this thread, please send me an e-mail at relationshipscm@mail.ivillage.com or you could send me a private message.

Jessica, our Community Director, has been posting updates from our techs as she receives them.  You can see those posts on the iVillage Help forum:  http://www.ivillage.com/forums/ivillage-women/around-ivillage/ivillage-help

Thank you so much for being a part of the iVillage community.

Well, I didn't wind up returning the candy. I did wind up donating it, though. A local dentist was collecting candy to send to our deployed troops. Sour Patch Kids are one of my favorites! We didn't have any of those this year, but I did have to get the Reese's PB cups out of here!

Returning candy?! That's blasphemy! LOL

We bought two bags and got about 25 trick-or-treaters. I brought the leftovers into work and everyone else had the same idea. I've discovered that I have too many "favorites" that are harder for me to resist: Milk Duds, Whoppers and Sour Patch Kids were all available in the break room this morning!

Well, we bought four bags of candy and barely got through the first bag. ToT lasted for two hours, and after the first hour I started handing out handfuls of candy to whoever came to the door. I think I can return the unopened bags.

We may have to turn off our light early tonight. I bought candy according to last year's trick or treat turn-out which wasn't very high. I have a feeling the nice weather will have more people out and about but we'll see. ;)

73 sounds wonderful right about now! It feels like we haven't seen the sun in forever. I'm near Chicago, and we're feeling the effects of the storm here (nowhere near what the east coast saw, though). I'm not expecting many trick or treaters tonight!!

Thanks, Jen!

Certainly I understand the storm will slow things down. It doesn't hurt to remind me, though. It's sunny here in Denver with a high of 73 forecast for today. ;)

Hi, RoseAnn.  I'm seeing the same thing with the sort feature.  It was working for me last week, but I noticed on Monday that it started showing me old messages when I tried to sort.  I'm also seeing the same authentication issues.  I'm still waiting to hear something from our techs who are in NYC, but I think they are still having problems with power and all things storm related.  As soon as I hear something I'll be sure to update everyone.

I'm still having the log-in problem. I pretty much know that when I'm asked to log in, it will give me an error that says I'm not authorized to post comments but if I go to another post, hit "Reply", get the WYSIWYG screen, back out and go back to the original post (in this case, this one), it will work. A lot of steps for one measly reply!

Also, every time I visit the board, it's sorted differently. Sometimes the newest posts are on top, other times I'm not sure how it's sorting but it shows posts from last week on top. In that case, when I click on "Latest Post" to try and sort by newest, I'm taken back to posts from 2003. ????

Hi, Hugs. RoseAnn is right. The "flag as inappropriate" link can be found under the options menu of each post. I know that adjustments for the WYSIWYG editor is something they're working on too. Our techs are in NYC, and I believe most of them are trying to work from home today due to the storm. I haven't gotten an update yet from them, but as soon as I have more information on the status of the reported issues, I'll let everyone know.
