I said other,
DH & I did it ourselves ..
Only help was from a few friends.
To those that helped I might have asked how ..
Then perhaps made more suggestions about certain things :)

I voted 'Yes," because DH and I were married at the courthouse with no guests, photographs, music, etc. But we're planning on renewing our vows, probably for our 15th or 20th anniversary, so it'll be a complete redo.

Our wedding day was perfect, but there was a communication breakdown in the hotel that night that I think we'd both take a redo on if we could.

And no, I'm not going to get any more specific than that.

I also said other for many of the same reasons that Hugs said: our wedding was small, family only (his - mine were either dead or too far away - like Viet Nam!), did it ourselves and except for the fact that we did hire a preacher and have the ceremony in a church it wasn't much more than the ceremony would have been at a courthouse or a justice of the peace.

It was inexpensive, legal and so long ago, I really don't remember much about it.

I would even have my cousin who had an epileptic seizure on the alter in my wedding again.

Yes, I would have hired a caterer that actually catered the reception instead of leaving everything on metal trays in the industrial fridge of the venue. Luckily, we had access to the kitchen, so we found serving platters, plates, silverware and cups, and put everything ourselves. The baker who delivered the cake stayed to oversee the reception, with help from my two new sisters-in-law. Otherwise it would have been a complete disaster.

The wedding itself was perfect, though. :-)

Absolutely! DH and I were married with the JP officiating with only my very BFF and her daughter in attendance. I would love to go back and have a real church wedding. We didn't even register, so we were stuck with all the old stuff. LOL
