Hey, all guys, my friend will get married in the next weekend, she asked me as bridesmaid.I am so happy for her.Now i have a question in my mind, how to choose clothes as bridesmaid. This is the first time i be a bridesmaid.I have no experience with it .I spent more time on it ,at last i choosed this Strapless Ribbon and Brooch Dress, but my mom said it is not good and it looks sexy and too short, do u think so ?
I was confused now.Need your advice!

Hi & welcome to the board :)

Usually the bride has a say about your dress .. have you asked/showed her ?
It also depends on what colors the bride wants.
I know things/times have changed since I was married ::blush::
So let's see what others have to say :)

Under normal circumstances the bride picks the style and color of the bridesmaids dresses.

I agree with the others that you should talk to the bride and get her input on the dress you've chosen. If there are other bridesmaids, you might also ask them what they plan to wear so you can find something that is complementary.

As for whether a particular dress is too short, etc, I wasn't able to access the link you provided but keep in mind that in addition to being appropriate for your body type and the occasion, the dress should also be appropriate for the venue. Some churches or other religious places frown on clothing that is too revealing.

Good luck!
