Our "weekend" is Thur-Sat as those are DH's days off. I'll be off maternity leave at the end of the month tho and I go back to real world schedule, LOL.
Tonight we are watching a documentary online, sharing some microbrewed beer samples and putting the kids to bed EARLY (crossing something off the sexual bucket list - is this TMI for this board? LOL).
Friday is dinner and a broadway musical with the ladies.
Sat is a movie w/my best friend and then a long walk to burn off the calories :)
That's about it. I also plan to create my packing and shopping lists for our vacation as we leave on the 20th - I hate to scamble around or pay exorbant holiday prices for things forgotten!!
LOL .. never too much info here Dee, Love hearing it all

Today is my Friday off and I have errands to run and things to get done in preparation for my friend's bridal shower tomorrow.
I am one of the bridesmaids and we're hosting the shower at the bride's house so we're arriving at 11 AM (while she's out having her hair done) to set up. The shower starts at 1 and should be a lot of fun. Afterwards, we're going to hang around and help with some prep for the wedding (July 3).
Sunday I'm dragging DH to the mall to shop for Father's Day gifts for both our dads and I need a new pair of shoes. Yesterday I noticed that my favorite comfy tennies are falling apart! :(
Also grocery shopping on Sunday but the rest of the day should be relaxing.
Aww I bet the shower will be great & she gets lots of neat stuff too! LOL on dragging DH .. good for you Hope you are able to get everything you need & your shoes as well. Have a great weekend :)
Neither DH or I are much for shopping. When I was telling him all the errands I was running today, he suggested I hit the mall alone. I told him I didn't think it was fair to shop for *both* our Dad's Father's Day gifts. LOL
My weekend will be the same as last weekend and for a lot of weekends to come: working at the emergency veterinary clinic. One of the vets last Sunday told me how appreciative she is that I'm working there on the weekends. I told her that it was no problem for me to be there, because after working in retail for many years I got used to working on the weekends and the holidays. They aren't special to me anymore.
My DH works the weekends so I'm home with my kitty cat. I'm going to take it easy this weekend. Sunday I had an accident on my bike (hit the freshly tightened breaks too hard turning and went flying) and hurt my right hand. Xrays said it wasn't broken. Doc says it's a mix of soft tissue damage and a bruised nerve. I couldn't feel half my hand right for days and what I did feel was lots of pressure. The swelling is gone and I've got sensation back, but I still can't do a whole lot for an extended time, so long bike adventures might be out for a little while. I feel better enough to do most of the chores, which is good. DH was a huge help and did mostly everything for me this week.
DH's weekend is Wednesday and Thursday. My MIL and SFIL are coming into town for a doctor's appointment on Wednesday, so we will be spending the day with them.
