Today my BFF is coming over for our usual Friday activities. Tonight DH said he wanted to see Iron Man 2 but he hasn't said anything about it today yet so I'm not sure. No plans for tomorrow and Sunday is Mother's Day and those plans are finalized either.

So, Mothers Day is Brunch with MIL and Mom, which should be nice. Sometimes my MIL drives me NUTS! I love her, and I can talk to her about anything, just sometimes she gets under my skin, and it's usually on Holiday's. We will see.... It is our first married Mothers Day. Fun. No kids, No kids ever, but, it's just neat.

Also update, I finally changed my name, leagally!!! I know we got married in Spet., but it's cool, and fun, and I'm getting used to it. I am just really excited about it! Call me silly, but I'm all giddy about it. I kept my maiden name, as a second middle name, because my middle name is my Mom's name, and I am the last one with my maiden name, and I felt like I couldn't get rid of it completely. I like my new name though!

Ok, plans, I think on Saturday, i am just going to relax. Curl up on the couch, with a soft blanket, if it's cool, and watch some girly stuff. My Husband is going to b gone for the day. Me Time!

I hope everyone has a great weekend, and a great Mothers Day!!! Hugs to all my girls! :)

I just changed mine as well. I am so not used to it and still sign/say my last name *but* not everything has/can be changed over just yet! I was the last in my family as well so it was a little difficult to make the decision to change.

I forgot about weekend plans - Saturday I need to work a few hours and Sunday I'd rather just stay in bed all day and watch TV

By the way - the next day after I got married - I went to change my Drivers Lic and then wrote every credit card I had to change my name

I am very, very traditional

I think that is great you decided to change your name,
Surely not an easy choice but one I think you will be glad you did :)

I know, It was kind of a bittersweet moment, I think you know what I mean! I also think that is why I put it off a bit. I'm also having such a hard time signing my new name! I want it to look nice! It will take practice. I don't know for you, but I still stutter when I introduce myself! I'm really glad I kept my maiden name as a second middle name. I sign two initials, so I never forget. Silly to some, but it sounds like you get it. There is excitement too, but when you've been one person for 29 years, changing it, is very odd, but fun too. I so get it. It's a process.
