We had BIL & SIL up from Washington this weekend so we kept the decorations up for them :)

DH is having his "stress analysis testing" for this CO application. It's quite scary to think he could be training in 5 weeks in a completely different career field. It's PT so he'll be the primary caregiver of the children.

We moved DS2 into his big boy bed and put the 2 boys together. Tonight is the first night and no problems. They are very happy and excited about it...

Hope your bil & sil enjoyed the decorations,
Now I guess this week/weekend you'll be taking them down ?
Good luck to your dh for this *stress analysis test*
I think the new job sounds awesome & hope all goes well.
Let us know how it goes with all that when you can.
Fun on the boys being in the same room now ..
Am sure they enjoy that with fun times ahead for them
Have a great week :)

Good Morning, All!

New and exciting? In the past two weeks, we've gotten a new vacuum (Woo Hoo) and ordered a new elliptical trainer (Yay!). Neither of those sound like "fun" purchases but they are both going to make life more enjoyable, I hope. ;)

Decorations down? Sadly, yes, the decorations are all down. As much as I like getting the house back to normal, I miss the lights and ornaments and overall cheer. But I keep telling myself that it wouldn't be as much fun if it were up for more than a month at a time. ;)

Weather? We had a dusting of snow on Saturday night and more in the forecast for Wednesday. Today it is sunny but COLD!

Nothing too exciting going on this week. My parents leave this afternoon for 5 weeks in New Zealand and I'm wondering how I'll survive without talking to them every couple of days! ;)

Hi RoseAnn,
Your new purchases sound great to me especially if they make life easier!
And now you have less excuses for exercising
You're right about the decorations & lights .. might get boring if up for too long.
Nice on the dusting I hope .. how much more expected this week?
Possible to skpe with your parents?
Bet they really enjoy themselves!
Have a great week :)

My parents looked into Skype when my sister left for S. America but I don't know that they ever got it figured out. They aren't exactly tech-savvy. LOL

When they travelled to Europe a few years ago, they emailed occasionally and sent postcards.

My dad mentioned calling but I reminded him to please, please double check the time difference because I don't really want them calling at 3 AM. LOL

Wow so much happened to you already this new year,
Sorry to hear it too.
As for the older kids & their problems .. been there done that sadly!
I can tell you it does get better, LOL
As for your Dd & the charges .. she can/will get a job somewhere ..will be harder if those charges stick
It depends on her lawyer so hopefully she can get a good one.
Oh your poor DH ::sigh::
Hope his recovery will be quick & painless as possible.
Happy almost bday & so glad you have such kind friends for support.
Looks like you will have a nice well deserved bday so that is good.
Hang in there as your peaceful life will happen eventually
Hope you have a good week :)
