Not too many plans for this week. We are planning a trip to the beach probably about mid-week. We've been wanting to go for awhile now, but it seems like it's been one thing or another with us lately. DH has been really stressed out and we haven't had much time to do anything fun and relaxing as a couple for a long time now. So going to the beach would be a perfect thing to do.
The one exciting thing I have going on this week is a lunch date with two online friends, one of whom I originally met here on iVillage!
Weather-wise, we are supposed to be hot (may get our first 100-degree days)
HI RoseAnn,How fun on having lunch with two online friends this week.Nice to be able to do that .. especially since one is orginally from ivllage.Join the club with your hot, hot temps .. least you don't have the humidity I don't believe.Great you're able to leave the dogs out like that .. fun for them Have a great week :)
No, we're going to Beach Walker Park on Kiawah Island. Myrtle Beach is too crazy busy for me. Too many tourists go there. I grew up going to Edisto Island where most of the time there was only a couple of people on the beach. Beach Walker Park is like that.
Wednesday is my birthday! Woo! My DH half sounded like he had stuff planned, so I'm not 100% sure what's going down. What I do know is that I'm going to my favourite all you can eat sushi place for lunch! Suuuushi! I think I'm looking forward to that that anything else. hehe. I already have got a couple of things in the mail. They're in my Do Not Touch Til Wednesday pile. :) Other than that it should be a typical week. It's hot and humid, but hey, it's summer! I'd be worried if it wasn't.
That's a lot to have met from online RoseAnn,Very cool that's how many!LOL on the weather .. I would have been one of those whining at yours last week ::blush::You're lucky then with little to no humidity but am sure you know that, LOLOh sure the dogs will get some exercise .. something will make them run for a bit.Although I do like the sound of lay around & nap :)
Re: humidity, I just know some parts of the country (Texas, the South) can regularly see upwards of 90% humidity. Even if you're fresh out of the shower, you walk outside and feel drenched!
Even on the weekends I find that I need a balance between physical activity and lazing around. ;)
