Our only solid plan for the weekend is dinner with a friend on Saturday night.

Tomorrow I'm making a pork roast in the crockpot and we're going to shred it for homemade fajitas.

The rest of the weekend could go two ways: 1) we'll get motivated and mow the lawn, clean the house, clean up the garden, tear out the deck, etc. or 2) we'll do the bare minimum and all that other stuff will wait for another weekend. LOL

My bet is on #2 right now. ;)

LOL RoseAnn,
Will be interested to see which you guys decide to do
Good luck with that & let us know!
The fajitas sound excellent & will really make the house smell so good, LOL
Neat on going out with your friends ..
Have a great weekend & enjoy it all ;)

I'm with RosAnn - I am planning to do nothing this w/end. DH is at hockey tonight and I'd normally be watching but instead I have my jammies on already and it's 7pm :) We HAVE to move some stuff back in the basement tonight but I'm going to opt to only do what we have to do. It's been 3 weeks since the flood and the restoration guys just left today. Knowing DH he'll be eager to set up the whole basement but he'll be doing it on his own if he insists.

Dh is working all w/end so I won't be going far. I WILL have to take the older one outside at some point...but he'll be happy just in front of the house w/the neighbourhood kids.

Sounds perfect Dee,
And a good start by being in your jammies so early too
Yes let DH do what he must if he must, LOL
It's great when the kids are young enough to be happy to be out front with others
Have a wonderful relaxing weekend :)

I hate when DH gets all motivated and I just don't have it in me. Usually it's the other way around; I'm the taskmaster reminding him why things need to be done by a certain time (usually a made-up deadline in my head but, still) but every once in awhile he gets all gung-ho and I feel like I have to cooperate because he's always such a good sport. ;)

I hope you get your relaxing weeked!
