Tonight I am going out with friends for coffee and then to see "Extremely Close and Incredibly Loud"; it's a new movie about a boy who is trying to solve the mystery of a key he finds after his father dies in the WTC attacks.

The rest of the weekend will have us getting ready for DSD, DSIL and DGSs' visit next week: dog washes, car washes, child proofing, grocery shopping, etc.

Hi RoseAnn,
That's the movie with Sandra Bullock & Tom Hanks I believe?
Am sure it will be fantastic but do let us know what you think.
It is one I want to see too.
You have fun getting ready & so important for that child proofing ..
Have a wonderful weekend :)

I love both Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock but I've read that they're each only in the movie for about 15 minutes. I also heard that this is the young actor's first job so should be interesting to see how he does!

This may very well be my favorite movie of ALL TIME! It was so well done and I think everyone could get something out of it.

If you decide to see it, definitely take tissues because it is heartwrenching but also has some really funny moments.
