I'll be brutally honest: it depends on what I'm doing. Our cats freak out if you lock them out of the bathroom (or any room you might be in), so it's generally easier to leave the door cracked.
LOL A few years ago, I remember seeing a video online of a cat stretching its paw under the closed door while its owner was in the bathroom. LOL
We've kind of conditioned our dogs poorly so that they have ulterior motives to come in the bathroom: they are fed in the basement bathroom, the main floor bathroom houses their snacks and the younger one likes to drink the water out of the shower in the master bath. Even when I use the guest bath upstairs, if I don't latch the door, they'll poke it open just to see what I'm up to. ;)
Me, too, hugss. If I don't close the bathroom door all the way the cats will come into the room. When I take a shower I do keep the door open enough for them to come inside. They like to play in the wet bathtub after I'm out of it ____________________________________________________________
Sometimes I do and sometimes I dont and that depends on my grand fur dog. She very curious and when she's there I 'll have an audience if I don't close the door. LOL
I always close the door when I shower as it is warmer that way.
I had a cat that used to put the paw under the door and whine to get in. But DH and I both leave the door open even when we are home. I thought to start closing it since DS1 is now 3...but I think it's helped with the toilet training, lol.
