We have a similar morning schedule, so unless one of us is super tired we go to bed together. Plus it's good snuggle time. :)

DH and I almost always go to bed together and get up together (within 30 minutes or so).

Hugs - we've lived together almost two years, and we've probably gone to bed at different times less than 20 times. Usually it happens when one of us is really sick, so the other will sleep on the couch. This past weekend, I went to bed before DH one night because he had taken a nap while I ran some errands, so I was tired way before he was.

As far as us getting up at the same time, it just works out that way. I feel very lucky that our bodies have the same general rhythm - we get up very early and go to bed very early. On Saturdays we are usually up by 6 (with no alarm), out the door by 7, and done with our errands by noon. It's really nice to have that time with DH, and to get our weekend to-do list out of the way early.

I always go to bed first. I have night terrors which have gotten better over the years but the first hour or so after I go to bed can be kind of rough so DH has taken to staying up playing his computer game until several hours after I've gone to bed.

I do more times than not. Since we have a TV free bedroom in our new house, he stays up to watch TV in the living room instead of the bed. I've apparently tried to keep up with him by staying up late but I pay for it on the weekends. A few weeks ago I got to the point where I would have liked to put a TV back in our room if that meant going to bed together; as another poster said "cuddle time"- I have a hard time sleeping well alone.

Oh do you think you will get a tv for the bedroom then again Sunny ?
Might be a good idea then you can cuddle & fall asleep better :)
