Great question :)

I said yes as I have with both ::gasp::
Separately but still, LOL
When the kids were younger too.

Disastrous with my Father & his wife ..
Not too bad with in-laws.
Now it's not an option anymore :)

There isn't enough money you could pay me do spend more than 24 hours straight with my ILs. I would go on vacation with my parents though. I said other because I had 2 different anwers.

I voted "other". DH and I have actually talked about going on a vacation with ILs. Specifically, when DGS is a little older, we thought a family cruise might be fun...to include DFIL, DMIL, DBIL, DSIL, DN, DSD, her DH and DGS. DH and I have discussed that as long as we can get some private time, we'd probably survive. LOL

Vacationing with my parents? I can't imagine. They travel very differently than DH and I (i.e. camping and super-frugal); I can't imagine them agreeing to anything like a cruise. For now, we'll probably stick to visits to each other's homes.

NO WAY.

Vacay is about me, which means I'd be going with GFs or Robbie. NEVER IL or my 'rents.

I voted yes to both. I would go on vacation with my in-laws. Once we reached wherever we were going, it's not like we would have to spend all of our time together, we could each do our own thing. It would be a little different with my mom, since it's just her. As for my DH, I'm pretty sure he would say no way to both!! LOL

I voted other since I don't have inlaws, but I would and have gone on vacation with my mother. My parents divorced 25 yrs ago, mom never remarried. So it is just my mother.

I should have given more options since I added the part about the parents in at the last moment making it two fold. Sorry about that ;)

I don't think I could go on a vacation with MIL. FIL and SMIL, possibly. My dad and step mom, possibly. But I would rather not. It's about us and all the people above wouldn't make it as relaxing as we would want it and since we rarely go anywhere, that would make it even worse.

I marked "other". Yes to both parents and inlaws but we'd be staying in very very separate rooms, and maybe even separate floors. We love each other but everyone needs some space.

Not every year but every few years would be fine. I like our immediate family vacations better. It is a matter of accomodating MORE people which makes it tough.
