My husband is really romanitc in his own way,
You betcha he is, but not in the stereotypical cards and flowers kind of way.
When we were first together, we lived 200 miles apart. DH was much more vocally romantic back then - I have a cell phone I'll keep forever because of the text messages I have saved on it. Now, DH *shows* his love for me more than he tells me (although we do say "I love you" all the time).
His #1 romantic move lately: setting up my tv tray before I get home. We have no dining table or coffee table, so we each have a tv tray next to our end of the couch. Before I leave for work, I put my tray away so the cats have more room to play. Lately, I come in to see my tray set up with a soda and ashtray waiting.
DH is a full-time student, and I have a crazy job and a long commute. He knows that when I get home, I want to get out of my work clothes and just SIT for a few minutes. Having those things ready for me is the ultimate kindness.
My DH is very romantic in his own way too.
OMGosh yes that is just beautiful!
Wow how special & he does certainly sound romantic ..
As does last night.
It is those kind of things that make us feel closer.
Aww you've got yourself a real keeper :)
Like the others have said, my DH is romantic in a lot of small gestures as well as big ones. He brings me flowers quite a bit, especially in the spring since he knows how much they make me smile. He makes me tea before bed, and anytime I have an ailment (upset stomach, headache) he whips up an herbal tea that calms my symptoms. He is always doing little things like finishing something I forgot to finish or upgrading my computer for me or searching the web for an answer to a question that has been bothering me. If I show any physical sign that I am cold, he hugs me, gets me a blanket, or warms up my "seed sac" to sit with on the couch.
