I'm a big time planner, so I totally understand. My two cents for you, stop planning anything. Appreciate the time you have with him and realize, if he was a doctor saving lives, you'd get peeved, but then you'd also think about how proud you are of him. So, think of him helping people and saving lives (which plowing just might do).

Yup, no more plans until the snow stops.

And I agree, don't give up on smoking. I would say smoke until spring, lol, but I know how addicting smoking is (more so than crack, amazing huh?) so keep on doing your best.

Hugs. And try not to take it out of DBF. I'm sure he knows and feels guilty and bad that he's messing up your plans. Don't make it worse for him to go to work and do his job.

Again, for now, just stop planning. Stop looking at the forecast, don't sit around waiting for DBF, but also, don't make plans that probably may get canceled. I know, not easy, but trust me, once you let go of the control, it'll feel a LOT better.

If you have plans, it might help to have a back-up plan if your couple plans fall through. Buy yourself some bubble bath and some candles, and treat yourself to a luxurious bath. Have some cookie dough or popcorn on hand and invite a girlfriend over to watch a movie with you. Ask a girlfriend or relative to join you for dinner. Go to the mall and buy yourself or your bf a present. Bake him cookies and write him a love letter. Curl up with a good book and hot cocoa. It's not as fun as being with your bf, but it's still time you can enjoy. He will also feel better that you enjoyed yourself. Take care.

If you are tying to quit smoking, then holy moly, of course things are going to bother you.

But with that said, rights and expectations are relationship killers. Just do what is in front of you.
