This past week my DH and I FINALLY had our first court hearing for him to get a court ordered custody agreement (after 4 years).

I'm a divorce lawyer and it's very normal when people go to court for mediation that only the parents w/ their lawyers are allowed to go in.
No schedule, no nothing actually.
Well Mrs., I think it is a little bit of both.
I do definitely catch myself at times being completely immature, like yesterday when XGF dropped the kids off my DH was just going up to the garage to put something away well, I got all tense because I knew she'd be here any minute and I wanted him inside when she got here, sadly he was walking down from the garage when she pulled in.
Have you told you husband how you feel?
I feel for you...I definitely do, as there are moments when I can get insecure myself...however, there are cardinal rules that I live by with regard to the skids...they aren't mine...plain and simple...Believe me, lately, there have been instances especially with ODSS (18) where I can honestly say, I'm glad that is the case...For example, SO and have been discussing the end of alimony/CS modification that he will be filing for in Sept.
I completely agree I have a wicked problem with being insecure.
Serenity wrote the most empathetic and compassionate line and I was afraid it would get lost:
Just keep praying for her that she gets everything in her life you would want in your own.

The choices we make in thought word and deed inevitably return to us in kind.
I think there are some things here that have to be discussed w/ your DH--first of all, you could ask him not to give you the play by play on everything XGF is doing--why do you need to know where he saw her car, etc?
