I thought I'd introduce myself before replying to threads.

Hi! Looking forward to your comments.

I'm happily divorced with an SO who lives a few hours away - his kids are older, 17 & 19, I;ve never met the younger one, but the older son hangs out with us a lot. My two are 11 & 14, I have a ling time before enjoying the empty nest :)

Welcome Charm!

Having grown children doesn't eliminate all challenges, but it is easier when they are

Welcome Charm!

I'm a newcomer myself and found this board in crisis, I just realized that I have never actually introduced myself!

I've been married to dh for almost 8 years now and we have 4 kids. He was married before and also has 3 kids (21, 13, 11) from that marriage. We met while I was training for my first job out of college and he was newly single and we immeadiately hit it off and were married a year and a half later. I was a young stepmom to his kids and despite a lot of drama with his ex, have always loved them as my own kids. I finally have the big family that I have always dreamed of! Even though it can be kind of stressful sometimes with the added complications of being a blended family.
