Well, I'm not really planning it, because DF & I live in TX & we are getting married in CA (our friends & family live there)....so DF's family is planning it (which makes it easy on me! Since it's both our 2nd time, we really didn't care to plan a wedding, we would've been just as happy going to JP....but the wedding is important to his mom, bless her heart!)

But, I'm getting sooooo excited, because I am going wedding dress shopping next week!!

Congratulations, that is awesome! Just showing us is great, my parents and sister did 99% of the planning for my first and it is a great way to enjoy, realx and have fun.

I'm a long way from any planning, still waiting for his divorce to be done :(

lol, well my ex sure did not follow that rule - he found the current gf a year before we even seperated (yes, that would be the reason I left) but 3 years later they are still together.

I met so about a month before my divorce was final, he had been seperated over a year at that point. No idea when his divorce will be final as her lawyer is dragging it out, and they won't provide douments, etc until demanded by the court. But he keeps a good attitude about it all.

I'm really happy for you!!!! Have a great time at your wedding

i haven't started planning much yet... DF and I have talked about "where" to hold the ceremony... how much it will cost... but for the most part I'm just enjoying life... Not looking forward to the stress of planning.

My first marriage was rushed and small so this time around i do want something big (well bigger). for sure, I want a party with friends and family. I want it to be a celebration not just a procedure. And i want a real wedding dress.... (the time before it was just a simple white dress i got at the mall for under $50)

So right now, i'm enjoying dreaming a little about what i'd like... then later we'll narrow it down to what is practical.

So happy for you,
Loonybunny
