Hey Guys x

Well, am not quite sure where to start really... Im finding it quite difficult to talk about it with friends because I know it won't be a 'normal' relationship and he's not living the same kind of life like a normal man... so have pretty much come to a cross roads or a brick wall as a matter of a fact, so thought I come onto this site to see if anyone is kinda in the same boat as me or could give me some advice.

It sounds like you've found a very sweet guy! I think you will have to have a lot of patience if this is a relationship you want to pursue. Since your dad was in the Army, it sounds like you have a good idea of what to expect (do you remember how it was when he was in the Army?). Your mom might be a really good person to talk to about this, too.

Do you have any idea when you two might be able to meet?

I've been there done that a few times with your friends not understanding the dynamics of your relationship. I would say to just go with the flow and see how things develop. You do need to be somewhat cautious because of the online thing. If he really is interested, you will meet soon enough. It's really rough in the military because of their schedule and being away so much. If he keeps dodging the question, though, you may have your answer.
