Should Ponytails and French Manicures Be Banned in the Army?

My advice here is simple. If you've never been in the military. Keep your opinion to yourself. You'd never understand just how differently civilians approach a question like this. I assure you there are reasons for the regulations we have. The military is not the place to make a fashion statement. Dress-right-dress uniformity and the deprivation of some degree of individuality is what enables the military to focus on a task without distraction.
