Well, vacation is over and it's back to the every day grind. We managed to pack a lot into the (short) 7 days we were there. =( Just to recap
Monday- We took family pictures at the mall. It was a long and interesting time. After pictures we went to mexican for a late lunch then just hung out for the night,
Tuesday- We went to Valley Of Fire about 45-60 mins outside of Vegas. It was SUPER pretty and we sadly only got to see maybe 1/4 of the park. There was something spritural seeing petroglyphs made over 4000 years ago. After, we hung out with my BIL, Billy and his two kids. Then went to eat at my beloved In-N-Out burger. YUM!
Wendsday- Went to the mall to look for a dress to wear to Lion King later that night. Lion King was AMAZING. I got goosebumps during the opening song. We sat 14 rows from the stage thanks to Nellis ITT.After the show Rob and I walked to the NY NY hotel to get a slice of pizza. I put a buck into a machine and cashed out at 2.38 so I could say I won. LOL. Had a drink or two and headed home.
Thursday- We went to boulder City to eat at a place that was on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It also happened to be a place where Rob's Great Uncle Rod eats everyday. So he got to meet Embry too. Since we were already out there, we took a quick trip to the hoover dam which is a sight to see. And I can now say I've been to Arizona. After was a homecooked family dinner.
Friday- We drove to Panaca (about 3 hours from Vegas) to visit Rob's dad and Diane. Didn't do a whole lot. just hung out. The rest of the family came up on saturday.
Sunday- Everyone came over to hang out at Robin's before we left, then had dinner at a downtown casino buffett.
Overall it was a wonderful trip. If any of you guys make it down there I highly suggest googling the Nellis ITT site and finding out what offers they have for shows and other sights to see in Vegas. For lion king we were 14 rows from the stage. Outside these tickets would have been 113 plus taxes and fees, we paid 80.50. They had a bunch of other things listed on the site too.
