The Army is planning to reduce the number of active Guard and Reserve lieutenant colonels and colonels in the Army Reserve.

My husband isn't an officer either. However, the "Army Times" is kind of a tabloid publication, so I take everything written in there with a grain of salt. If I saw it written in "Stars and Stipes", I'd be more inclined to believe it.

Not affected here. We'll see if this actually happens or if it's just another "rumor".
