I love banana pudding. Especially if it has a little chocolate in it. Whipped cream, nilla wafers. It's a good thing I am so full of Rosa's Cafe or you would be making me hungry!

Not sure of the best dessert I've ever had, but when I go to a BBQ, I usually take fruit salad.

Mic, I do forget that are you aren't a southern girl. I have banana pudding coursing through my veins. Have been known to jump in front of old women at church to get the last dallop out of the serving bowl. It's southern tradition. It's our tiramisu. Recipes are long family traditions. Everyone does something a little different to make theirs special. I for one put a ribbon of hot fudge in mine because I believe that bananas and chocolate are perfect lovers.

Rosa's Cafe is an authentic little TexMex place we ate for dinner. They are a tortilla factory and make fresh tortillas to order. So I got steak fajitas and had the softest warmest freshest tortillas ever. We went out to celebrate the contract coming in to sell the NC rental house.

Can't post the recipe. Check out southern living mag or Paula Deen's site for theirs. My grandmother would take a switch to my hind end for giving up her recipe.

Yes, selling. It's been a crazy race but our renters moved out, we tried to get a leasing company to get someone else in there. I made 2 payments out of what was supposed to be my savings account. We realized we were getting no where. So we listed it on Saturday and before they could even get pics on the MLS listing it was under contract. We are taking a 50K loss mind you but we are still walking away with enough to pay off the mortgage and some of our other debts and it will

Well, I can't think of a BBQ memorable dessert but when we go camping we love to do apples on the coals of the fire! Core them, put in some brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon wrap it in foil for a few layers and lay in on the outside of the fire in the hot coals......YUMMY!
