As they get the time to do things, they can write more often, and that is indeed a good thing

Thank you. I lost my job in September so I just decided to go back to school and have been going to the gym to try and turn my emotional pain into physical pain. It's getting easier especially with getting letters every couple days from him

I got through each deployment, and a one year remote tour, but thinking only one day at a time.

Write to him about the positive things your son does every day. The changes in the colors of the leaves...something funny you saw. Anything you can to lift his spirits. Yes he needs to know you miss him though. I cried easily myself but I had my job keeping me busy and distracted, as well as the kids I cried in the shower in the morning so they wouldn't see me and be upset.
