Do you know any thing about a candle light vigil tonight (3-28) at 7 pm?

Thanks.

I don't know about that but it seems like a nice idea :)

This morning from 6 until 6 one of the radio stations here had a collection "Operation Comfort" for the troops. People brought sunscreen, toothpaste, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, etc. It was so nice to finally feel like I could do something. Shhh...don't tell DH but I spent a little too much....oh well, as long as it's for a good cause is what I say :)

I think I'll light a candle tonight anyway, maybe it will catch on :)

You know, you have something there. Wouldn't it be a nice idea if everyone in the USA could do this every Friday at 7:00 pm central time? Leave em' lit for say an hour? Imagine what a nice sight that would be! Until our troops get home? I am just soooo sick of anti-war protesters and I have no one in the military! My DH is a Vietnam Vet. I just don't want to see these guys treated the way his generation was when they got home. And folks could light a candle regardless if they are pro or anti war. It would be a support thing for the troops. I am not sure how to pass the word around other than e-mail. I have no clue how to make a website. I could try and whip something up on my computer over the weekend. Let me know what you think. See what your friends think. You can email me at ss813@krausonline.com

Thanks!
