Well I have been wanting to do this for years but kept putting it off or getting shot down due to lack of interest (which I find hard to believe). Well I spoke to the right person (Thanks Chaplin ) and Dec 12th there will be a Rememberance Candle Lighting on base to honor all the children who have died at any age for any reason. This is in conjuction with the Compassionate Friends World Wide candle lighting. If you are interested please visit the website to see if there is a location near you. Please know you dont have to attend a ceremony to honor your child or a child of someone you know, all you have to do is light a candle at home Dec 12 at 7pm and keep it lit for one hour. Here is the website http://www.compassionatefriends.org/News_Events/Worldwide_Candle_Lighting.aspx

This is the first event that I have ever organized that wasnt just for family so any suggestions would be really appreciated since I have less then 30 days to do it all in.

Wow Im so excited and nervous. Its great to do something that you believe so strongly in. I really want to help other military families that have lost a child so they will know they arent alone.

Thank you so much you are sweet. I really just want to help people because of the lack of support we received and I know how much it hurts and to feel alone.
