Good morning ladies!

I would like to know which diets you have tried or are trying right now?

I'm doing weight watchers right now & working out with a trainer! I love weight watchers. I love the fact that I can still eat the things I love as long as I plan and eat healthy the rest of the day. There's nothing like craving a taco bell taco & it being ok to eat it! I do the online version though for 2 reasons. 1 - I have 2 small kids & my husband is overseas so it's hard for me to get to a meeting once a week. And 2 - It's cheaper that way. I pay $14.95 a month instead of $12.00 a week! Hope that helped some!

I don't follow a diet per se. I do keep track of caloric intake and adjust it according to my activity level and weight. (I have the calculation if you want it) I also am very careful about sugars and simple carbohydrates. I make sure I get enough lean protein and soy products.

I base my eating mostly on the Zone. It is a very well balanced diet 40-30-30 so you are never hungry and eat lots of good food.

Email me and I'll send you the two basic plans I follow when chosing food. I've lost 60 pounds so far. It has been a very slow and sometimes defeating process but it is working.

Hugs and good luck,

Susan

I've lost 27 lbs since December 1st. I haven't been on a diet program per se... mainly just watching what I eat and exercising. Because DH is deployed I can't really get to the gym so I do pilates at home and for my birthday purchased a stationary bike which I ride while watching TV.. he he he.

For eating I just totally changed my ideas on food. I used to eat for comfort... now I eat for fuel. When it comes time to eat I weigh my choices and choose the one that will provide the most nutritional benefit.... not the one that would be the best tasting.. LOL Darn! I also recommend taking vitamin supplements while dieting and calcium. My father joined a weight loss program and lost over 100 lbs in a year... unfortunatly due to most likely malnutrition.. his teeth also fell out. So I'm diligent about taking my daily multi vitamin and calicum supplements and trying to keep a rounded diet. A typical dinner for me is a lean cuisine and some steamed broccoli and cauliflower. Yum!
