Sorry it's been awhile since I posted last. I do lurk just do not have much to add. Things are still the same here with Katlyne. It's a day to day battle for her to breathe on her own. The doctors attempted to let her breathe on her own but Miss Lazy pants didn't want anything to do with it. She has finally finished her round of steroids and we are just waiting for her to add my weight before trying them again. While she is on them she doesn't grow and while off of them she plays catch up. Currently she is up to 5 pounds and 9 oz and getting stronger and bigger. She sits up in a boppy to look around to see what everyone is doing and boy does she no when they are to feed her. She goes crazy if they are late (Like me LOL!!!) Hopefully next time on the roids we can get her totally off the vent and for her to do all the work other than her breathing issues she is wonderful and finally looking like a baby. Last week was my due date and of course, it was a really hard day for me as I thought she would be home by now. We still didn't do Katlyne's room as the doctors will tell you only Katlyne knows if she is coming home or not. Seems funny after tricare paying 10,000 a week for her to have the best care and that is the only answers they can come up with. They always say.. You know everything so we don't have to keep reminding you that your baby is sick. One day, she will be able to come home so she can enjoy life outside a hospital crib.....

Here's her lastest picture (march 25) hanging out in her boppy like a big girl hard to believe that she is already 3 months old and just starting to look like a newborn....

For the newbies... I'm T (tracy) married to my sailor Ben.. We are on shore duty at an air force base in the mid west. I have two boys Drew(12) and Kyle (10) and we have together Miss Katlyne (born at 24 weeks - 1 pound 2 oz now 3 months 5 pounds 9 oz)....

Have a great weekend... Be safe and your all in my prayers....

Hi Tracy!

It's been a while since I've even lurked, but know I've been thinking about you and praying for Katlyne. It sounds like she's making amazing progress and I can't wait to see the post where she gets to go home finally. :)

I had to check out your pictures, and lil' Katlyne's just as precious as can be! I bet you are very proud of her, how could you not be. Best wishes for your family!

I don't know if you remember me, but I was on here about a year ago. I'm Charady, SAHM to 2 dd's. Are you in or did you once live in IL at the AFB? If so, I have a question about that base, if you don't mind.

She is such a little miracle. It's hard to believe that she was born at 24 weeks. Wow! It's amazing how much she's grown. Comparing the first pictures of her to now, it's amazing that it's the same little girl.

She's always in our prayers!

What a cutie she is, she's starting to get so big! Hopefully she'll get that breathing thing down, I will keep her in my prayers. Can't believe she's 3 months already!! By the time Braden sees Dane again he'll be 3 months, it just breaks my heart. Sorry to hear that you had a hard time on our due date. I was thinking of you that day, wondering how you might be feeling. I just can't get over what little miracles these babies are. We're definitely lucky to have them.

Well thanks for the update from you.. I also lurk to see if you've posted, LOL. Hopefully I'll update Braden's website soon with new pictures.

Good to hear from you!
