A mother was ordered to deploy, but her teenage daughter didn't want her to go alone.  She decided to put college on the back burner and changed her job in the military, learning how to drive a truck since that job is in demand, so she could go too.

How would you feel if your son or daughter wanted to follow you or your husband into combat?

Oh wow, that is a tough question.  Since my husband and I both served, I think we would be honored to know our children felt just as strongly as we did about the military that they would choose to do it as well.  As a Mom, I would be worried about their well being and praying they made it home safely.
