GM all! Been MIA for the past 3 days..

Hope everyone had a good weekend! I had a pretty good one. Thursday afternoon, dh, my mom, and I drove to Chicago to go see my brother graduate Navy basic. It was nice to see him. The weather was cold/rainy when we got there and Saturday and yesterday it was just cold/windy, but that didn't stop us from going downtown. They definitely upped security for those that attended the graduation. We all had to stand in line for them to check id's, look through bags, and then we went through the metal detectors. Then they bussed us to the building where graduation took place. Talk about fun! NOT!! But I didn't complain, I know it was for everyone's safety.
My in-laws watched the kids for the weekend so it was nice for dh and I to get away. I know my brother is glad to be done with basic. Now he will be going to Florida for schooling. Hopefully, dh and I can go down there for his graduation as well. That would be awesome! lol Then he doesn't know where he is going. He said he gets to make a wishlist, but really didn't know what to put down.
Anyway, that was my weekend. It's nice to be back to the board. Lots of hugs to all those with deployed hubbies and those getting ready to deploy. I am always thinking of you.
