Is there any way I can get a power of attorney from my husband while he is in training. I have an emergency situation I need to clear up...and the company that I contacted can not give me any information without a power of attorney. I do not know what to do, and his house will be taken away if not paid...but without a power of attorney the mortgage company will not give me any info about the house. Help!

I am not really sure on this one. Is he in Basic Training? They maybe able to let him do it. That is one he is going to have to ask his DI.

Sorry I couldn't be more help!

If you can get a hold of your husband they should defintely let him take care of getting you a POA.If you can't get a hold of him, try going to the nearest military base who can assist you in contacting to him to get the POA.Is he still in basic or AIT?? If so and you can't get to a military base try going to the recruiter who signed him up, they are available for any questions or help you may need.Good luck!

I was able to have our title company draft the poa and then send to him where a local notary could validate it. They even paid the fedex charges!
