I made the perfect baked patato. Thank you so much. I'm going to have to invest in one of those rice cookers. Tomorrow morning I'm going to atempt biscuts and gravy. It sorta sucks cooking for just one though (wish my husband was here ) I had my first day at work on base at the Boys and Girls club. I had a wonderful day, one of the little girls told me I was pretty. It made my day, I figured maybe the staff paid her to act so cute so I would stay :). I'm doing some spring cleaning and piled my bed with clothes to sort through, now I'm tired and can't go to sleep (because of all the clothes I didn't sort through). :). Have a great weekend. I have no plans for this weekend, and it feels great! Luv, Katie

I cheat on the gravy. I buy the Sausage flavored gravy packets. My oldest son loves it. I just cook Brown and Serve sausage to go with it and bake some of the canned biscuits. I can't seem to make a good gravy so I just use the packets.

Good luck and hope you have a nice weekend.

You're on your way to cooking success! LOL.

Glad that your first day at the Boys and Girls Club went well. I hope you continue to enjoy it.

Way to go Katie!! Hope the biscuits and gravy turn out well too. lol Good luck on the cooking thing. I've been doing full dinners since I was nine (long story) and let me tell you it takes a long time to learn the tricks of getting everything finished at the same time. There were many occassions where my family had salad, waited, had veggies, waited, and had the meat. lol

Yay on the new job too! Sounds like things are looking up.

Hugs,

Susan
