Anyone else notice that as we do more online banking and use debit cards more, we use our check register's less?  I have to play catch up all the time, logging in to the bank and adding things to my register that I didn't write down in the days prior.  Anyone else do this, or is it just me?

I'm the same way! I have a hard time keeping up with my register. I've found that I'm using it less and less these days (*blush* I really should get better at it!). I keep a close eye on the account by logging in online, but not so good about writing things down...

Glad I am not the only one.  I guess it seems like the check register is a bit rendandant anymore.  But I do get it all caught up, and balance it every month anyway

Quicken is my friend. I don't use a register anymore. I just put all of my transactions into Quicken. I don't use the auto download from the bank, but some do. Log onto your bank website every few days and it auto downloads all transactions. But, I will input a paycheck into quicken have some stuff drafted out of my account and it not show up for days, where I put everything in manually and can see the "bottom line" quicker.
There are other similiar programs out there. Quicken is just the one I like.

I used to use Quicken many years ago. It was very simple to use
