Well I don't have much time to post anything much other than a few lines here and there. So I decided to sit down and just have a go at the update thing....

Jay has had the chickenpox. Which hasn't been easy. He has been really fussy and not wanting anyone but mommy to hold him. But he is starting to calm down. I think he has had more baths this week than any other week. But I don't mind because he is happy then. Well He has been working on his first teeth, still none yet. But I have my fingers crossed. He shocked me last night. I knew he had been lunging around on the floor. Which is the step before crawling, till last night. I was in the kitchen fixing me a pepsi. I look down and he is crawling scross the floor. I was beyond myself. I told myself I was seeing things. And let it pass. Well this morning I got up and sat him on the floor and said "Come here". And he crawled to me. I was in tears in the first three steps he made. It was the most exciting thing that had happened all week. I ran right out and bought all the baby proofing things I could find and gates. So the past two hours I have been baby proofing away. Oh the joys of parent hood. I love my little boy.

I haven't heard anything from my hubby yet. He has been gone now 1 month and nine days. In one month from tomorrow it will be our second anniversary. It will be our second anniversary apart also. He was overseas last year and now that is where he is this year. My dh isn't good at math but in the last letter I got from him he told me that in the almost 700 days we had been married we had only seen each other roughly 268 days. I sat down and did the math too. He was on the dot. It broke my heart to see how much a person sacrifices to be a military spouse. It takes a strong willed person to love someone that much. I am that strong willed. The last word from my dh's unit is that they could be home in July but it could also be Jan. I hope on July. That would be nice.

I haven't got anything new to say about me. Other than I got my hair permed and I really like it but I still have no idea on a good shampoo and conditioner to use. I know not to use baby shampoo though. I heard that it hurts a perm. But that is it. Oh and I started walking. Which is a good thing right?!?!?

Well just some ramblings from me, hope I haven't bored anyone to death yet.

Samantha proud Army wife to Mikey(Iraq) and mommy to Jay.
