Headaches could be caused by any number of things that may or may not have anything to do with his job.Did he suffer any kind of head injury on his previous deployment?

I agree with what Jenny has already stated.

I don't think anyone here would be able to say what it could be and it's sorta like using Google to check your medical symptoms! It's best to just leave it up to the doctors and let them sort things out.

I know it's hard waiting to hear answers from doctors. I hope in the meantime, your BIL can get some temporary relief from the headaches and you all can put it out of your mind as much as possible until you get some answers.

I agree with Jenny and Amy. I hope the doctor is able to figure out what is causing the headaches and get him treated before he has to deploy. Please let us know how his appointment goes.

It's very likely that that would put him on a medical profile temporarily disqualifying him from deployment until the cause of the headaches is determined
